Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco proved to be the stage chosen by Etko for the change that is to come both in Cyprus wines and for the Commandaria, Cyprus's Unique AOC fortified wine.
This can be seen as a bold move by Etko which opts to integrally redesign and rename it's classical version of St. Nicholas hoping for more performance with a slimmer bottle and a bolder visual identity. The change is welcomed for all practical purposes and surely this is a tendency that will sweep Cyprus Wines in the coming months.

The program proposes a different perspective of wine set on basic standards that will enable to break down the barriers and "protocols" which may keep you away from unique experiences with wine. It is set as the following:
- 12 weekly two-hour meetings with discussion and tastings
- An organized excursion to the island's wineries
- Participation in "private music & wine concert" from his orchestra Conductor John Hadjiloizou.
In nature, as in wine seasons, the return to the source has always something of positive emotions and vital satisfaction.
Take the story behind the return of bottles of Commandaria 1845 from Paris, beyond the possibility of tracing back heritage, one does observe the result of fruitful of encounters; satisfaction produced at a personal level and which institutions sometimes make their own.
Couldn’t we just forget Paris? We can’t, because of these virtuous circles without end. Wishing Good luck to the wineries attending the Cyprus Wines Tasting at the house of wine, the OIV. More about the tasting in October
Aslo it has come to our knowledge for this occasion, a winefest will be organised on the 14th of October on the grounds of the winery in Kalo Chorio Orinis From 14.30h Join the team of Aes Ambelis until the evening celebrating it's longetivity and successful winemaking in the future.
